About Columbine Tile Installer
A small crew, a local address, and a straightforward approach to tile work.
Who We Are
Columbine Tile Installer operates out of 6509 W Ken Caryl Ave in Littleton, Colorado. We are a hands-on tile installation crew that works directly with homeowners and commercial clients across Columbine, Ken Caryl, and the broader Littleton area. There is no call center, no subcontracting chain. When you reach us, you are talking to the people who will actually be on site.
Our work covers residential floors, kitchen backsplashes, full bathroom renovations, shower surrounds, mudrooms, commercial restrooms, and lobby floors. We work with porcelain, ceramic, natural stone, glass mosaic, and large-format slabs. The material changes from project to project, but the approach stays the same: prepare the surface properly, set the tile precisely, and leave the space cleaner than we found it.
Why Substrate Prep Matters to Us
Most tile failures are not tile failures at all. They are substrate failures. A floor that flexes, a wall that has absorbed moisture, a surface that was not flat to within the industry standard of 3/16 inch over 10 feet: these are what cause grout to crack and tiles to loosen over time. Our crew checks every surface before any tile is ordered. If we find a problem, we tell you what it is and what fixing it will take. That conversation happens before the work starts, not partway through.
Colorado's climate adds a layer of consideration that tile crews in other parts of the country do not always face. Temperature swings between seasons affect expansion and movement in subfloors, particularly in homes with concrete slabs. We factor that into layout decisions and grout joint sizing.
Serving the Community
Columbine and Ken Caryl are the neighborhoods we know best. The ranch homes, split-levels, and newer builds in this part of Jefferson County each come with their own construction characteristics, and we have worked in enough of them to know what to expect. Littleton's older housing stock near historic downtown and the newer subdivisions further out both show up in our schedule regularly.
We are reachable seven days a week from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. If you have a project in mind, the fastest way to get a useful answer is to call or fill out the form below.
Precision Layout
Every install starts with a dry layout. We find the center of the room, account for cuts at the perimeter, and confirm the pattern before a single tile is set in mortar.
Waterproofing First
Wet areas get proper waterproof membrane treatment before tile goes up. This is not optional on shower walls and floors, and we do not skip it.
Clean Finish
Tile work generates dust and debris. We protect adjacent surfaces, clean up daily, and leave the finished space ready to use.
Direct Communication
You hear from us when something changes. We do not disappear mid-project or leave questions unanswered.
