Full Coverage Dark Marble Bathroom in Littleton
This master bathroom in a Littleton home received a full tile installation covering all four walls and the floor in a matching dark gray marble-look porcelain. Full-coverage tile installations like this one require careful planning of the tile layout so the pattern on adjacent walls aligns at inside corners, and so the floor tile joints align with or intentionally offset from the wall tile joints in a way that reads as deliberate rather than accidental.
The dark porcelain used here was a high-gloss finish, which means grout haze removal is critical: any residue left on the polished surface will be visible. We used a grout haze remover specifically formulated for polished surfaces and buffed the tile clean before the homeowner's fixtures were reinstalled. The white floating vanity and white fixtures provide visual relief against the dark tile and were installed by others after our work was complete.
